International Babywearing Week Around the World Hungary: What is this?
 Look closely ... it's the world's longest baby sling! Babywearers in Budapest, Hungary, held their wraparound slings end-to-end on a bridge crossing the Danube to kick off their celebration of International Babywearing Week 2009. Their slings crossed the whole river!     Moldova
Babywearers in Moldova organized this wonderful photography exhibit. Watch the video above to see the beautiful installation of photographs as well as a demonstration of the rucksack carry with a wraparound sling. You can now see the exhibit online at www.closeenoughtokiss.net!
Babywearers in Moldova also celebrated their national piece of cloth, the prosop, which organizer Geta Rascuic describes as a "gypsy shawl," with a master class on babywearing with a prosop and also a fashion show at a shopping mall. See a video of the fashion show here!
